CARPE DIEM
This design is inspired by all the time the team has spent fishing for massive Carp. There are many types of Carp people target; Common, Mirror, Leather, Grass, Ghost, Koi, F1, Crucian, Siamese, just to name a few. The largest Carp ever caught was in Euro Aqua in Hungary weighing a whopping 51.6kg!
Carp fishing is extremely popular in Europe thanks to the enormous sizes they can grow to and the hard fight the put up. There is a massive community for carp fishing in Europe and it's attracted many new anglers in recent years.
SLAP THE BASS
The Largemouth Bass is the United States most popular species to catch and for great reasons. This green fish provides an action-packed fight and can grow to healthy sizes. The largest caught was a 22-pounds, 4-ounce Bass out of Lake Montgomery in 1932.
The Bassmaster Classic is Considered the “Super Bowl of fishing” it's the premier competition in professional bass fishing. The winner receives a prize package worth $300,000. The Bassmaster Elite Series and the FLW Tour feature top anglers competing in tournaments across the United States, there's also many regional and local bass fishing tournaments that take place throughout the year
STURGEON THE SURGEON
There are approximately 27 species of sturgeon, most commonly in slightly cooler rivers of North America & Eastern Europe. Found in both fresh and salt water often inhabiting river deltas, then migrating up stream to spawn, others live in freshwater rivers and lakes and some in the ocean.
The earliest sturgeon fossils date to the Late Cretaceous they are descended from other, earlier acipenseriform fish, which date back to the Early Jurassic period, some 174 to 201 million years ago
The largest sturgeon on record was a Beluga female captured in the Volga Delta in 1827, measuring 7.2 m (23 ft 7 in) long and weighing 1,571 kg (3,463 lb).
The White Sturgeon is one of the largest freshwater fish you can target today, with 11-12ft fish often caught in the Fraser River, BC.
